Crews responded to reports of the fire, which started around 3:21am on Highway 2 near Scrub Oak Drive.

At 4:30am crews had a hose around 50% around the flames and most of the flames are burning itself out after running out of fuel to burn.

The cause of the brush fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported, and no structures were damaged.
