According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident was reported shortly after 7:30pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024 on I-15 North, between Joshua Street and Main St.
According to the CHP, the loaded semi of dry parcel veered off the right side of the freeway, overturned and landed in the ditch below.
Citizens reportedly helped the semi driver out of the ditch before first responders arrived. No injuries were reported at the scene.
Caltrans map showed the northbound slow lane and right shoulder were blocked at the scene of the incident. Meanwhile, motorists on I-15 were backed up before Ranchero Road were running into delays.
No other information was immediately released.
