California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene of a major crash by a I Phone. The crash occurred just before 8pm on Saturday September 14, 2024, about a mile before the Bear Valley Road exit on northbound I-15. The two vehicles were reported were a brown or black Chevrolet Avalanche and a white Toyota Corolla.
According to the CHP traffic log, two to three people were ejected from the Chevrolet Avalanche after the Chevy hit the center divider Krail and rollover multiple time landed in the two left lanes.
Three people, including one male and a female that were ejected, were transported to a local hospital after their Chevy rollover, CHP said. The third person was airlifted by Mercy Air #2 helicopter. Mercy Air landed on the freeway and transported the third victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center but the extent of the injuries is unknown.
Also reported two dogs were ejected and will be reunited to their owners after animal control pick them up. No injuries were reported on the dogs.
The conditions of those involved were not immediately known at this time.
