PINON HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A brush fire on Highway 138 sparked a quick response from firefighters kept the blaze from spreading and contained it to less than a acre burned. (Photo above is credit by Mary Lou Urak.)

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the fire took place just before 11am Friday morning on Highway 138 near Oasis Road.

Firefighters responded to the scene, and the blaze was knocked down in 30 minutes but cleared the scene by 1:30pm. The Post Office was evacuation at one point.

No injuries were reported.
