HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after a three vehicle crash that left one car upside down. (Photo above is credit by Veronica D’Arellano.)

The crash was reported at about 6:36pm on Sunday September 29, 2024, on northbound Interstate 15 about a mile after the Oak Hill Road exit.

One vehicle involved the collision was a dark color sedan that drifted into the lane split area, hitting sand barrels and rolling over. The collision sent the sand barrels across all traffic lanes. A red or maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck hit the center divider k-rail. The third vehicle was an unknown make and model.

Firefighters arrived on scene and one person was transported by ground ambulances to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The two traffic lanes were reopened at 8:40pm.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
