DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol says a man was seriously hurt and a woman had major injuries after jumping from the Devore Road Bridge onto I-215 Monday afternoon in Devore.

CHP says it happened at about 2:11pm on Monday November 4, 2024 into southbound Interstate 215 traffic lanes from the Devore Rd bridge over the freeway.

No vehicles reportedly hit the man or the woman that were lying down in the traffic lanes.

When rescue crews arrived, the man was unresponsive with major head trauma to his forehead and leg injuries. The young woman reportedly had a leg injury. Both were transported by ground ambulances to a nearby trauma hospital. The male with life-threatening injuries and the female with serious injuries

At this time, it’s unknown why they both jumped on purpose or by accident.
