Officers with the California Highway Patrol were in pursuit of a grey Jeep Cherokee SUV on Tuesday night around 11:50pm on southbound Interstate 15 for reasons not yet known, when the driver of the Jeep lost control and crashed off the freeway, rolling multiple times and ejecting all 4 occupants of the vehicle.

It was reported CHP lost sight of the Jeep prior to the crash. The Jeep rolled over on the west side of 15 freeway on Quarry Road North of Stoddard Wells Road.

Victorville City Fire Department came to the scene and reported that two people needed to be airlifted to a nearby trauma hospital. The two other people were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

CHP officers on scene recovered an unknown number of firearms believed to belong to the suspects in the pursuit.

No further information is available, and more will be released following the CHP investigation.
