BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) > Four people are in custody after a pursuit from Victorville ended in Barstow on Interstate 15 on Sunday morning.

The incident began around 10:20am on February 23, 2025, when San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a white Toyota Camry sedan with four occupants inside traveling on Mojave Drive in the city of Victorville.

When the driver failed to yield, officers pursued the vehicle. The suspect went on northbound I-15 freeway and travled for about 20 miles reaching high speeds at times.

The suspect vehicle crashed into several vehicles that were traveling in the fast lane and in the middle lane at the Lenwood Road exit in the city of Barstow.

The vehicle came to a stop, with all four suspects fled on foot into the open desert, but were quickly apprehended by law enforcement.

No injuries were reported in the pursuit or the collision that ended the pursuit.

Two left lanes were shut down for about 30 minutes for the clean-up and for the investigation of the pursuit.
