Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate the New Silverwood Community in Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA. With the ribbon cutting officially taking place, they followed by tours of the development of the first phase of many.

John Ohanian, General Manager of Silverwood Community, formerly known as the Tapestry Project of Hesperia, said it been over 13 years of hard work to see it come together.

“We’re opening with a soft opening this weekend, and our grand opening is coming up on Saturday April 5th and Sunday 6th,” Ohanian said to Jose Gonzalez of JGKIX Videos. Check out the video below.

Ohanian said, we’re looking forward to welcoming families to come live in phase one of the housing track starting in May or June of this year.

Silverwood is a new community in the Inland Empire expected to create a multi-billion-dollar economic impact in Hesperia, Victorville, and other nearby cities and towns.

At more than 9,000 acres in size and entitled for more than 15,000 new homes, schools, parks, and shopping centers. Silverwood will be one of the largest new communities developed in Southern California in many years.

Situated at approximately 3,200 feet of elevation, Silverwood features towering views of the surrounding mountains in the San Bernardino National Forests.

Silverwood will create the opportunity for thousands of families to live in a gorgeous natural setting with endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, all within a reasonable commute to San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, and other existing employment hubs.

The fully completed Silverwood Community is expected to take 17 to 18 years to finish.
