SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider was injured after his motorcycle was struck in a hit-and-run crash on southbound Interstate 215 in San Bernardino Saturday night.

California Highway Patrol were dispatched to southbound I-215 Freeway on the Palm/Kendall Drive onramp at about 8:55pm on April 5, 2025. CHP said the rider was found and lying near the guardrail.

Witnesses said they saw and heard the motorcyclist on a blue Suzuki GSX revving his motor and erratic driving prior to the crash. Both vehicles turned off of Palm/Kendall Dr. to the onramp of Southbound 215 Freeway.

Then an unknown vehicle hit the motorcyclist on the onramp and left the scene, traveling south on I-215.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
