VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A family on Easter Sunday suffered injuries, including one child went to the hospital, from a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Interstate 15 in the city of Victorville.

The incident occurred around 10:44am on southbound I-15 Freeway, just before the Main Street exit.

A witness said a driver of a dark gray Ford F-150 pickup truck did not notice that the silver Scion xB vehicle in front of them had either drastically slowed down or even stopped because of Sunday weekend traffic.

As a result, the Ford truck driver rear-ended a Scion. The Scion had a family inside.

The family inside were injured with minor injuries and one child suffered major injuries.

The child and the only one, was transported by AMR ambulance to a local hospital.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
