HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A rollover traffic accident caused a male driver to be ejected from a pickup truck during a solo vehicle rollover crash on Mariposa Road in Hesperia Monday morning. (Photo above is credit by High Desert Incidents.com)

The crash happened on Monday April 28, 2025, about 10:17am on Mariposa Rd., just after Mesquite Street next to Interstate 15.

The driver of a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck left the paved portion of the road and lost control as they continued southbound. The pickup truck collided with the dirt embankment, fence, and overturned, coming to rest on its roof, according to the Hesperia Police Department.

Authorities said the driver was ejected when it overturned.

Recuse crew from San Bernardino County Fire said the driver was taken by Mercy Air #2 helicopter. Mercy Air landed at the nearby street to transported the driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center but the extent of the injuries is unknown.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station.
