CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Several vehicles collided on the northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass near the top late Saturday morning due to dense fog conditions that reduced visibility to almost zero.

California Highway Patrol officials reported that the dense fog created hazardous driving conditions, leading to multiple accidents on the 15 freeway.

The visuals from the incident site showed about a half a dozen vehicles with severely damaged. Due to low visibility owing to foggy weather that moved in late Saturday morning.

The collision occurred about 10:50am May 3, 2025. The crash location was on northbound I-15 about a mile before the Oak Hill Road exit. It was reported to be a total of five to six vehicles involved in this collision.

At this time, we didn’t know the exact number of vehicles involved in the crashes or the total number of injuries will the article was posted.

San Bernardino County Fire said at least six patients were transported to local area hospitals while “quite a few more patients were evaluated, treated and released on scene by medics.”

The reason behind the crash is not immediately known at this time, “witnesses state that the fog was light and then became extremely heavy very quickly.”

CHP issued a SIG Alert for the #1, #2 and #3 lane for the removal of vehicles and crash debris.
