OAK HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Authorities say a man is dead after being hit by a box truckFriday evening along Caliente Road, next to southbound Interstate 15 lanes and the Oak Hill Road onramp.
First responders were called to the intersection of Oak Hill Rd and Caliente Rd. around 6:22pm on May 23, 2025.
It’s reported a white box truck was parked on the dirt shoulder along Caliente Road when officials arrived. A male pedestrian was found lying on the ground behind the box truck.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by first responders.
The early indication from the preliminarily investigation, the male adult was accidentally hit by the truck. Officials have not immediately confirmed whether the man was a pedestrian, a passenger, or the driver of the box truck.
