HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The driver of the car was airlifted near the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Summit Valley Road and Foley Rd. in Hesperia early Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were sent to the scene just after 12pm on June 4, 2025 on a possible head-on collision with one vehicle rolled over. The vehicles involved were reported to be a white Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD dually pickup truck and a black Kia Forte sedan.

Early indications say one of the vehicles crossed the center line of the road and sideswiped the dually part of the pickup truck and sent the Kia airborne. The driver landed in the traffic lanes and was trapped due to the heavy front-end damage to the Kia.

San Bernardino County Fire Recuse extrication the male driver out of the Kia. It’s reported the driver could have a broken leg and other serious injuries. They called for a medical helicopter to transport.

The driver was airlifted by Mercy Air #22 to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. His condition was not immediately released.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Summit Valley Road was shut down in both directions during the investigation and clean-up.
