NEWBERRY SPRINGS. (Pain In The Pass) >> Five separate semi tractor-trailers crashes in three days on Interstate 40 between Needles and Barstow.

California Highway Patrol is investigation five rollover crashes involving 18-wheelers. The first and second crash happened on Thursday June 5 in the morning on westbound I-40. The first one was about 9 miles before the city of Barstow. The driver ran off the freeway and the trailer part only overturn on the right shoulder. The second crash was about 50 miles away from the city of Barstow. The driver lost control for unknown reasons and overturn blocking the slow lane.

Third rollover crash was on westbound I-40 about 10 miles before Barstow in the early morning on Friday June 6. The driver ran off the freeway in the right shoulder. The semi rolled over onto its roof.

The fourth semi to overturn was on eastbound I-40 about 10 miles before the Highway 95 exit near the town of Needles Friday night June 6. It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision. The semi overturned on its passenger side in the right shoulder.

The fifth separate crash happened on Saturday June 7, just before 7am. The driver reportedly ran off the roadway about 9 miles away from Barstow. The semi overturned on the driver side.

No information on injuries in each crash, if they were taken to a local hospital.
