SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Thedriver of a pickup truck towing another truck on a trailer attempted to avoid wood debris in the roadway, lost control, and went off the 15 freeway down the embankment.
The crash was reported just before 3pm Saturday July 19, 2025, on northbound Interstate 15 just before the Glen Helen Parkway exit. The driver swerved to miss wood debris in the roadway. Then the driver lost control of the truck and trailer went off the right shoulder of the freeway and went down the embankment.
The pickup truck with the other truck on the trailer went down about 30 feet down the embankment off the freeway.
Everybody was able to get out vehicle with no injuries.
About at 3:27pm the truck began to smoke and catch fire. Flames spread to the nearby vegetation.
Fire crews from multiple agencies responded quickly and extinguish the flames to the brush and both vehicles that burned.
Firefighters stopped the brush fire at ¼ acre.
