CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has sent out a traffic alert the public that District 8 Specialized Bridge crew will perform bridge inspections and repairs on southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.
Crews will be conducting work on Saturday, August 16 from 4am to 2pm*.
The operation will require a full closure of the southbound I-15 Cleghorn Road on and off ramps. Two traffic lanes will be closed during the operation the #3, and #4 lanes, from Highway 138 to Oakie Flats Road/Blue Ridge about two miles before Kenwood Avenue exit.
Expect a traffic backup in this area and also on Highway 138 with this repair project.

Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the roadwork zones.
