HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced that paving on Highway 173 is now complete, a $3.3 million pavement rehab project.
The infrastructure upgrade to make road safety and driving conditions from the Hwy 138 junction to approximately .5 mile east of Arrowhead Lake Road south of Hesperia Lake Park.
Crews replace the existing asphalt surface using cold planning and hot mix asphalt techniques. This will make a smoother safer ride on the highway.
