PRIMM, NV. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is improving along nearly 9 miles stretch of Interstate 15 (I-15) South from Sloan Road to north of Warm Springs Road.
This Project will aid in improving travel-time reliability, serve proposed growth in the area by increasing local mobility and access, and enhance I-15’s operational efficiency.
This week several lane and ramp closures are scheduled to take place over the next several days along I-15 as part of an ongoing traffic widening project.
The following traffic restrictions are necessary for striping, profile grinding, overhead installation, and weigh-in-motion installation.
Sunday, September 28 to Friday, October 3, 8pm to 5am*.
Northbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Sloan Road to Blue Diamond Road.
Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane from Blue Diamond Road to Starr Avenue.
Intermittent on-and-off ramp closures along southbound I-15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway.
Sunday, September 28, 8pm to Monday, September 29, 5am.
Northbound I-15 off-ramp to Starr Ave closed.
Monday, September 29 to Friday, October 3, 8pm to 5am.
Southbound I-15 reduced to one lane starting ½ mile before Sloan Road to Sloan Road.
Monday, September 29 to Friday, October 3, 24/7.
Southbound I-15 auxiliary lane from Warm Springs Road to Blue Diamond Road closed.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
The project is expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
