OAK HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The San Bernardino County Fire Department quickly extinguished a vehicle on fire Friday on northbound Interstate 15.
Fire crew quickly extinguished the silver Volkswagen Beetle on fire about 1:45pm October 24, 2025, the VW stop just before the Oak Hill Road exit. The VW was saved, just fire damage to the engine compartment area.
The slow lane was closed for about 30 minutes to fight the flames.
Officials said there are no reported injuries.
No additional information about the fire has been released at this time.
