CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters extinguished a brush fire Wednesday afternoon in the Cajon Pass near southbound Interstate 15, officials said.
San Bernardino National Forest Fire Department responded to reports of the brush fire shortly after 2pm on October 29, 2025. The location of the Fault Fire was in the Blue Cut area off of southbound I-15 freeway and Cajon Boulevard.
By 2:45pm, fire crews had successfully extinguished the fires and began to work on mop-up operations at ¼ acre burned.
Fire investigators were dispatched to determine the cause of the fires. No injuries were reported.
