HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A male pedestrian was airlifted to a local hospital following a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night on Highway 138.
The incident happened at about 7:40pm on November 4, 2025, on the 14200 block of Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road.
According to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office with the Hesperia Station said, the victim, an adult male, was walking southbound along the highway when he was struck by a vehicle, that they believed to be a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to the scene and requested an medical helicopter to transported the pedestrian due to the severity of the injuries.
He was transported by ground ambulance to the Hesperia Airport, then airlifted by Mercy Air #22 helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
It’s unknown what the pedestrian’s condition is at this time.
