CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A multi-vehicle crash closed 3 northbound lanes on Interstate 15 after the Kenwood Avenue exit Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred about 2:31pm on December 9, 2025, on northbound Interstate 15 just after the Kenwood Ave exit.
It was reported the driver of a black pickup truck was traveling at high speeds abruptly changing lanes, clip a semi tractor trailer, lost control and hit a passing Greyhound bus.
The pickup truck and bus were disabled due to crash damage in the middle of the traffic lanes.
Information is currently limited, and it is unknown how many injuries resulted from the crash. At least one person the driver of the pickup truck was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with major injuries.
CHP reopen all traffic lanes at 4pm with traffic backup all the way down to Baseline Ave that’s over 13 miles long.
At 5pm the CHP traffic log stated the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
