SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Apedestrian walking on a onramp of Interstate 215 was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP was notified about a pedestrian walking on the onramp of northbound 215 freeway in San Bernardino on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at approximately 10:14pm.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and down in the lanes. The victim was transported to a local hospital with CPR in progress, where he was succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities said the victim was a male. The cause of the collision and the reason the pedestrian was walking on and around the freeway are still being investigated.
The driver who hit the pedestrian did remain at the scene and was cooperating with the investigators.
This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino, Inland Office.
