FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was killed after the driver rear-ended a semi tractor-trailer on Interstate 15 in Fontana Thursday morning.
At about 3:15am., on December 11, 2025, California Highway Patrol and emergency crews responded to a crash involving a black Lexus 400 series sedan and a semi tractor-trailer near the Sierra Avenue exit.
From the CHP traffic log stated the semi was parked on the right shoulder of the freeway, when the driver of the Lexus at an unknown speed crash into the back of the parked trailer.
The driver of the Lexus was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi driver sustained no injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Rancho Cucamonga Office.
