PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol and Caltrans report an emergency closure of State Route Highway 138 in both eastbound and westbound directions due to flooding (Phelan side).
The closure is in effect between the Interstate 15 at Cajon Junction Hwy 138 exit and Beekley Road. Officials say conditions are unsafe for travel, and motorists are urged to avoid the area immediately.
No estimated time for reopening of the closure.

Drivers should seek alternate routes and expect delays throughout the Cajon Pass and surrounding areas as storm impacts continue.
