CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening after a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles on Highway 138, California Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened about 5:20pm April 5, 2026 on Highway 138 east of the 15 Freeway.
According to officials, a man was riding a motorcycle on Hwy 138 east of 15 Freeway when he got involved in a crash with two other vehicles. As a result, the man landed on the right shoulder of the highway.
The other two vehicles involved were a gold Chrysler minivan and a blue sedan from reports of the CHP traffic log.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers conducted a search of the area for a possible person on foot “hiding or walking” in the area, as well as inquired with local hospitals regarding crash victims who may have just arrived, according to the CHP traffic log.
At this time the investigation indicates this could be a fatal hit-and-run crash.
