HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The body that was found in a car off of Highway 138 last week has been identified as 64-year-old Allen Yue of Newport Beach.
The incident was reported around 11:33am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, when California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to Hwy 138 between the 15 Freeway and Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.
Officers regarding the area of a turnout following reports of a light-blue vehicle with a person inside, possibly a male, threatening to kill himself.
Sadly, CHP said, Yue was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other information surrounding Yue’s death has been released.
