HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The San Bernardino County Fire Department is responding to a pickup truck fire near Joshua Street onramp Sunday afternoon on northbound Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters were getting calls of a vehicle on fire, on northbound Interstate 15 on the right shoulder just after the Joshua Street exit. The vehicle fire was reported about 3:24pm Sunday July 19, 2026, with flames coming from the engine compartment.
CHP and firefighters were on the scene to work on getting the black Chevrolet Silverado truck fire put out. They had to temporary shutdown the slow lane.
Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
