CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters responded to a small brush fire Friday morning in the Cajon Pass.
The fire was reported at about 4:03am July 24, 2026, on northbound Interstate 15 about a mile after the Highway 138 exit on the right shoulder of the freeway.
The Cajon Fire is approximately ¼ acre in size.
Crews were able to get the fire under control and extinguished at about 6:45am.
Details about how the fire started were not immediately available. There was a report of traffic collision in the area prior to the brush fire.
