CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A rollover crash Friday night at the sharp turn on Highway 138.
California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Fire, and a tow truck responded to the traffic crash. The crash was reported at about 9:27pm, August 28, 2026. The crash location was on Hwy 138 at the sharp turn (Hesperia side) or about 2 miles before Interstate 15 freeway.
The CHP traffic log stated a silver Toyota Carmy sedan somehow lost control went off the highway, rollover at least one time, went down the embankment landed on its wheels.
Two people were transported by ground ambulances to a local hospital, A man was reporting to complain may have possible broken his legs and the other person had non-life-threatening injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
