CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A car fire on northbound Interstate 15 snarled traffic Friday afternoon.
The car fire was reported at around 2:20pm on October 9, 2026, on north I-15 at Highway 138 exit on the right shoulder.
The occupants of the white Hyundai Sonata sedan were able to get out before emergency crews arrived, California Highway Patrol said.
San Bernardino County Fire were on scene responding to the fire and needing the slow lane to be shut down.
There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
