FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> At least two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving a box truck on northbound 15 Freeway near Summit Avenue on Saturday morning.
The crash happened at around 2:07am October 10, 2026, on northbound lanes of the 15 freeway just after the 210 connecters near the Summit Ave exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles involved in the collision was reported to be a silver Kia Telluride SUV hit a box truck, a silver Tesla and an unknown vehicle.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, but Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department crews also called to the scene. They said, two people were barely breathing in Telluride SUV. They were treated at the scene before they were eventually taken to a nearby hospital. Firefighters did not immediately provide information on any of their conditions or other injuries.
At around 2:15am, CHP officers issued all lanes of the northbound I-15 to be closed. Then at 3am the two left lanes were reopened.
4am all lanes were reopened.
