3 Brush Fires Burned In & Around The Cajon Pass Last Week Are Fully Contained

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> All three brush fires that burned in the San Bernardino National Forest last week are fully contained as of Saturday.

The South Fire located North Fontana/Lytle Creek started about 1:30pm Wednesday, August 25 2021. 100% contained at 819 acres burned.

The Roadside Fire was reported just before 11:23am Saturday August 28, 2021. in the area of Keenbrook Road and Cajon Boulevard old Route 66 of Devore. 100% contained at 50 acres burned.

The Railroad Fire was first reported just about 12:48pm Sunday August 29, 2021, in the area of the Baldy Mesa Trestles OHV Staging Area and the train tracks in the Cajon Pass off of northbound Interstate15 is now 100% contained at 61 acres burned.

The cause of all three brush fires are under investigation at this time.
