BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving three vehicles temporarily slowed the labor Day traffic on southbound Interstate 15 Monday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a collision on southbound I-15 just before Hodge Road offramp. The crash happened at about 3:34pm Monday on September 5, 2022.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a white semi tractor trailer, a black Cadillac XT5 SUV and an unknown vehicle, this was stated on the CHP traffic log. On arrival, firefighters located the Cadillac with heavy front and rear end damage, in the center divider. The unknown vehicle has some damage and the semi had minor damage.
Only minor injures were reported and traffic was backedup to Lenwood Road at one point.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
