According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just after 7pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The incident happened on southbound I-15 just after the Bear Valley Road exit.
According to a witness said, the red Volkswagen Jetta sedan was speeding. The driver of the VW lost control and a Jeep made contact the VW sedan. The impact caused the VW to rollover and land into the ditch upside down.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
The driver of the VW reportedly failed a sobriety test was arrested at the scene for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or other substances in his system.
