PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A GoFundMe campaign has been created to support the mother of three, a Oak Hills residents who passed away in a fatal head-on car crash on Phelan Road last Sunday evening.
A GoFundMe site has now been set up for 38-year-old Ashley Halas of Oak Hills, who leaves behind three beautiful daughters.
Ashley was driving a white GMC Yukon with a passenger were heading eastbound along Phelan Rd. just prior to the collision. Ashley veered or lost control from the eastbound lane, crossing the left turn lane, into the westbound lane, and into the path of a blue Subaru Forester.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they pronounced the driver of the Subaru deceased at the scene. Ashley succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital a short time later. Her passenger in the Yukon was airlifted by Mercy Air 22 to Antelope Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
The GoFundMe is help cover the funeral expenses and to provide for Ashley’s daughters.
