According to California Highway Patrol, this happened about 7:32pm on November 26, 2024, on I-15 northbound between Joshua Street and Main Street in the city of Hesperia.
CHP said a semi-truck fell off the side of the freeway into a ditch. Caltrans said the right lane was closed and would remain that way for at least a couple of hours.
The driver was taken to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville in unknown condition.
It wasn’t immediately determined what may have caused the crash. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at the time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
