SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi tractor-trailer fire has shut down a portion of Interstate 215 lanes in the city of San Bernardino Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 3:10on July 9, 2025, on southbound I-215 at the end of the Baseline Street onramp.
The semi tractor-trailer suddenly began smoking and the driver pulled over, according to California Highway Patrol traffic log.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle before it caught fire.
CHP says, vehicle fires can spread quickly. If you see smoke or flames, pull over safely, turn off the engine, and move away from the vehicle. Always dial 911 in an emergency.
