VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Another fire broke out at the Mojave Riverbed, a day after a fire in the same area burned 5 acres.
The Frontage Fire reignite around 4:45pm on Monday after the initially fire broke out at around 3:37pm Sunday July 20, 2025, next to the Frontage Road between Stoddard Wells Road and D Street in the Mojave River and called the Frontage Fire.
After the Frontage Fire reignition occurred and filled the Mojave River area with heavy smoke.
Victorville City Fire Department called for more additional units for structure protection as the fire grew fast with the afternoon gusty winds, that push the fire to 46 acres burned as of 7pm Monday.
At 8pm the fire is holding at 50 acres.
