CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 34-year-old motorcyclist has died after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene Friday morning in the Cajon Pass.
The incident was reported at approximately 12:32am on Friday July 25, 2025.
Erek I. Brown, a resident of Victorville stopped his motorcycle on the right shoulder in front of the northbound Interstate 15 truck scales when he was struck by the Scion xB, which continued driving after the collision.
According to preliminary reports, Brown reportedly ran out of gas on the freeway and called his girlfriend, who was on her way to the site. When the woman arrived at the location around 1am, she found that Brown had been involved in a collision. Tragically, he died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
California Highway Patrol has not released any new information about the crash or have made any arrest, as of Saturday.
