WRIGHTWOOD, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A lightning strike during a thunderstorm Saturday morning caused a pine tree on fire in the Angeles National Forest near the town of Wrightwood.
Angeles National Forest staff confirmed that the smoke was coming from a lightning strike near Table Mountain area west of Wrightwood. Firefighters were quickly on scene.
The Table Fire was location to a single tree on fire with limited vegetation on the ground.
At this time the fire is controlled to the single tree.
There was no threat to citizens or homes due to its location.
