CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol are investigating after a person was found deceased inside a semi tractor-trailer parked on the Kenwood Avenue onramp of northbound Interstate 15 Friday morning.
According to CHP traffic logs the incident happened about 10am on October 10, 2025, of a blue semi with product on a lowboy trailer parked on the shoulder of the freeway.
An unknown caller called CHP dispatch for a welfare check on the semi. They said, there tracking data showed that the vehicle had not moved since the previous day for approximately 20 hours, prompting concerns about the driver’s well-being.
At approximately around 11am CHP officers arrived on scene and confirmed that the person inside the semi was deceased at the scene.
CHP said the cause of death hasn’t been determined and is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
The person identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
