CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Heavy rain led to slick freeways, causing this solo vehicle rollover crash in the Cajon Pass Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic report, the crash happened around 3:37pm January 3, 2026, on southbound Interstate 15 at the Kenwood Avenue exit.
It looks like the driver of a silver Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was traveling south, when the driver, failed to adjust the speed for the rainy conditions and hydroplane.
The truck traveled off the left side of the road and hit an embankment in the center median, according to the reports. This caused the vehicle to overturn multiple times.
From the CHP traffic log, three people suffered and suspected of minor injuries. Also, from reports a dog was seen running away from the crash scene.
