LLANO, CA, (Pain In The Pass) >> A passenger in the Land Rover has been ID as Eyal Tsatinyan, have died of injuries suffered in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon on State Highway 138 at 195th Street.
The collision happened around 11:58am on January 14, 2026 on Hwy 138. CHP officers and firefighters were dispatched to a crash scene; they located a red semi cement dump trailer with heavy front-end damage and a white Land Rover Range Rover Velar SUV with heavy driver side damage and a white Chevrolet sedan with major front-end damage and rear damage to the vehicle.
Preliminary investigation indicates a white 2012 Chevrolet sedan was being driven westbound on Hwy 138, west of 195th Street East, while a red 2015 Peterbilt with two fully loaded trailers was being driven on the opposite direction. The Chevrolet driver crossed the center of the highway and collided with the Peterbilt. The driver of the Peterbilt was unable to prevent the truck tractor and trailers from entering the westbound traffic lanes and striking a white 2026 Range Rover traveling in the opposite direction.
Sadly, an unbelted adult passenger of the Range Rover sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
All three drivers were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by Officer M. Beverly of the California Highway Patrol, Antelope Valley Area.
