CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup truck pulling a trailer caught fire in the northbound lane of Interstate 15 Saturday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire dispatch reports the incident occurred at about 1:25pm April 18, 2026, on northbound I-15 about a mile before the Cleghorn road exit.
CHP and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
Traffic backup quickly and firefighters had the fire out in about a half of an hour.
No injuries were reported.
No additional information about the fire has been released at this time.
