Zzyzx, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> San Bernardino County Fire crews did respond to a vehicle fire on southbound Interstate 15 Wednesday afternoon.
A Jeep Wrangler was reported on fire on the right shoulder of the 15 freeway about a mile from Zzyzx Road on southbound I-15 at about 12:52pm September 9, 2026.
The slow lane was closed for about a half of hour so fire crews could work to put out the fire.
Officials said there are no reported injuries.
