HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> San Bernardino County firefighters battled a car fire on southbound Interstate 15 Saturday evening.
California Highway Patrol and the fire department were getting calls of a white Toyota Camry sedan on fire. The vehicle was located between Joshua Street and Highway 395, about 5:35pm on May 29, 2021. CHP and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane, while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out for about a half an hour.
Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
