California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a vehicle on fire on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles before the Cleghorn Road exit. The vehicle fire was reported about 3:30pm on March 31, 2024, with flames coming from the engine compartment.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene to work on getting the vehicle fire put out. They had to temporary shut down the fast lane.

The vehicle was reported to be a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
